Gadberry Group opened in 2000 and over our history we have developed deep expertise in cloud-based software development, geo-demographic data development at micro levels of geography and professional services to add value to our clients’ research, planning and marketing functions. Throughout our history we have remained focused on delivering very high levels of customer satisfaction as evidenced by a customer retention rate well over 90% annually.  Now, well into our second decade we are constantly working to serve our clients better by developing even more advanced methods for understanding truly what is happening “on the ground” in terms of population and household shifts, demographic trends and location intelligence.  Our clients continue to partner with us to better understand their customer bases, their locations, the geographic context around their locations and their overall market environment.

Gadberry Group’s Leadership Team

Adam Gadberry

Adam Gadberry is our Founder, and Chief Executive Officer and established The Gadberry Group in 2000. Adam began his career with Andersen Consulting in 1991. As a senior consultant located in the Dallas, Texas office, he provided business process design and technology development for a variety of companies in industries such as telecommunications, utility, oil & gas, natural resources, and health care. In 1995, he joined Acxiom Corporation, an Arkansas-based corporation that specializes in data integration services, data warehousing, and decision support services. From 1995 to 1999 Adam served as a business development executive for Acxiom and was responsible for strategic marketing and product management leadership. Adam received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1991.

Larry Martin

Larry Martin is our company President and is responsible for all areas of business operations. Prior to joining Gadberry Group, he served as global product leader for Acxiom Corporation, an Arkansas-based corporation that specializes in data integration services, data warehousing, and decision support services. In this role he was responsible for strategic marketing and product management leadership for Acxiom’s InfoBase product portfolio that included telephony, consumer demographic, e-mail, and segmentation data products for both North America and the United Kingdom.  Prior to joining Acxiom, Larry served as Senior Vice President of Operations for TeleSite Services LLC, a national wireless site acquisition consulting company. He has also served in management roles for J.B. Hunt Transport and American Transportation Corporation. Larry received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Arkansas.

Berk Charlton

Berk Charlton is our Vice President of Strategy and Development, and is responsible for Corporate Strategy and Business Development activities. Prior to joining Gadberry, Berk worked as Global Managing Director for Enterprise Location Intelligence for Pitney Bowes software. His responsibilities included managing Enterprise Geocoding, Location Intelligence Data, and Enterprise Routing product lines. Prior to Pitney Bowes, Berk was President of Meridan GeoSystems, and also worked in business development and sales with Computer Associates, Xporta, and Strategic Mapping. Berk received a Bachelor’s of Science in Geography, and holds an MBA from BYU’s Marriott School of Management.

Janey Pettit

Janey Pearson Pettit is our Director of Marketing and is also responsible for the Product Management Organization. Prior to joining Gadberry Group, she worked as a Marketing and Product Management consultant for several organizations and global companies. She also served as a product leader for Acxiom Corporation, an Arkansas-based corporation that specializes in data integration services, data warehousing, and decision support services where she was responsible for the strategic marketing and product management for the company’s largest data product. Janey started her career as a product trainer for Estee Lauder and has 30+ years’ experience in building, promoting and leading strategic products and teams globally. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Brian Wiedower

Brian Wiedower is our Director of Data Development and has over 26 years of experience in database marketing and data development. Brian began his career in 1989 as a Software Developer for Acxiom Corporation, an Arkansas-based corporation that specializes in data integration services, data warehousing, and decision support services where he was an integral part of development and certification of Address Hygiene and Duplicate Identification software. He was also an integral part of the implementation of Acxiom’s Enterprise Project Management solution of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Project Server. Prior to joining Gadberry Group, Brian was the Director of Data Integration for IDM, where he lead the design and implementation of the technical solutions for clients and provided technical leadership in the use IDM’s software tools. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Alan Steele

Alan Steele is our Practice Leader for Services.  Prior to joining Gadberry he was with MaxPoint Interactive, an online advertising company, where he was Executive Vice President of Analytics.  Alan has also served as the Group Leader for Acxiom Corporations Global Consulting Division, President of the Analytics Division of Havas Corporation, a French Advertising Conglomerate and Vice President of Operations and CIO of Doubleday Publishing a division of Bertelsmann Corporation.  He has held Senior Management positions at Strong Funds, Draft Worldwide, AT&T, and American Express.
